remains entwined
here in this crowded last home of the flesh
we met by the insects devouring the remains of
yesterday and some while ago
the intimate relationship we had there
through the earth
some kind of love
I am home with you
the loneliness that ate me out and inside
a feast for the colony of the littlest
every inch of skin and innards
intertwine in a dance
six feet under
so tight and so loose
why not enjoy the time we have down here?
two corpses becoming one
returning to dust
living only as a memory to another
no more pain
no more tire
in eternal rest
just existing after death with you
such a peaceful last home
dearest of them all
entwined for aeon
it is good to be rooting
here underneath with you.
