Mermaid

Diving into the deeper ocean,
Knowing the most beautiful waters,
Delighting me with the most mesmerizing songs
Hidden in a realm as great as the sea itself
Consciously or not, I'm awake.
And then, upon entering the gates of seduction,
Behold, I spot a mermaid.
Like a dream so real,
I could not believe, even if I touched.
I had to leave behind what I knew to dive into the unknown and rare
Addressing the question of whether it is all a dream or not.
Facing the creature in skin, bone and thunderous beauty,
I look into your eyes,
I admire them as if they were two turquoises
And then, with the fervor under the skin,
Behold, I realize it was all a dream.
Even upon awakening on the beach sand,
With a comb and a small porcelain shell stuck in the same on my hands.
When looking at the horizon and the waves advancing slightly,
I just did not know what to think.
