Fireflies, My Honey.
Do not ask for butterflies, if you already have fireflies.
Live with what you have, and
Try to fight for what you need, for what you crave.
Do not leave this for later, if you can do it now
It saves a lot of time to enjoy then, with your loved ones,
Free from the rope around the neck.
Surprise in the horizon,
Sunrise reflecting all over the ocean
The night kissing the stars,
The silence without wars,
No eyes to the scars and far from the roars.
There are fireflies tonight,
A pleasure given by nature for free,
Only for seeing you enjoy the little things,
While some flowers sleep.
There is the light of the moon,
Of all the stars to shine down on us
To make us turn into dancers, to turn me on.
There are fireflies in the air as you are sitting there
Enchanted by all this beauty.
Fireflies, my honey; a natural illumination.
Live with what you have, and
Try to fight for what you need, for what you crave.
Do not leave this for later, if you can do it now
It saves a lot of time to enjoy then, with your loved ones,
Free from the rope around the neck.
